Angel Cruz Moreno was born in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico the 21st of december of 1960. His first studies were done at the age of three with his father Mr. Angel Cruz Garcia modeling femenine shapes on sand in the beach of Las Bocas, Sonora. He took his fisrt drawing lessons and plastiline modeling with Rolando Arturo Bracamontes Obregon in Navojoa (1985). In 1986 he took a course of stone carving with the canadian Gus Gilbright in the Costumbrista Museum in Alamos, Sonora. In 1990 he took the course of plastiline modeling with Rosalia Mapica in Coyoacan, Mexico City. In 1992 he got a dimploma in human shape modeling with Juan Manuel Santana Pinal in the Academy of San Carlos, downtown Mexico City. He also got a diploma for teachers in Plastecene Arts in La Salle University of Mexico City.
Angel has been treasurer and partner of ARTAC, National Association of Fine Arts Mexico, that at the same time is mexican commitee of ATAP (International Association of Fine Arts). He is also partner in SOMAAP (Mexican Association of authores in Fine Arts) and Sulivan's Garden Arts in Mexico City.
